How does tailoring keep my resume truthful?

ResumeSkip never invents experience, skills, dates, or titles. It only reorders, rephrases, and emphasizes content already in your resume, and only mirrors a posting's keywords where you genuinely have that experience. Review every document before you send it.

What makes a resume ATS-friendly?

Applicant tracking systems parse best from single-column plain text with standard headings like SUMMARY, SKILLS, and EXPERIENCE, and from resumes that use the posting's real keywords. That's the format ResumeSkip outputs.

Can I use my LinkedIn profile instead of a PDF?

Yes. Copy the text from your LinkedIn profile and paste it in. ResumeSkip does not connect to LinkedIn or ask you to log in there.

Is my resume shared or used to train anything?

No. Your resume stays in your private workspace unless you create a share link. We do not use your resume content to train our own models.

Which resume formats can I upload?

PDF, DOCX, RTF, and plain text. Files are parsed locally on your device. Legacy .doc files need to be re-saved as .docx first.

Who we are

ResumeSkip is operated by Jackalope Digital, LLC, a limited liability company organized in Colorado, United States. These terms are an agreement between you and Jackalope Digital, LLC.

The service

ResumeSkip helps you import a resume, save it as a base, and generate ATS-oriented resumes, cover letters, and interview prep tailored to job postings you provide. The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee that any document will pass a particular screening system, rank in any ATS, or lead to interviews or job offers.

Accounts

You sign in with an email one-time code. You are responsible for activity on your account. One-time codes are for your use only. Existing guest workspaces remain until you sign out; attach an email from the dashboard to keep that workspace.

Plans and billing

The free plan includes a limited number of resume bases and AI runs per rolling 30 days, plus bonus runs from referrals and result-sharing. History on the free plan shows your latest results; older rows stay stored and reappear if you upgrade.

Pro is billed monthly or yearly through Stripe and includes unlimited bases and runs plus the ATS match scorecard. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues through the end of the paid period. We do not prorate partial periods.

A 7-day pass is a one-time payment for Pro access for seven days. It does not auto-renew.

Prices may change with reasonable notice. Displayed prices are in USD.

Your content

You own the resumes and content you upload. You grant us the right to process that content to provide the service (including sending it to the AI provider). You are responsible for the truthfulness of what you submit and what you send to employers — tailored documents should reflect your real experience.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service to break the law, to send abusive or excessive automated requests, to circumvent plan limits or rate limits, or to attempt to access other users' data. We may suspend accounts that violate this section.

Intellectual property

ResumeSkip and its branding belong to Jackalope Digital, LLC. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the service.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the state and federal courts located in Colorado will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
