Adding Account-Level Career Context and LinkedIn Bio
Store extra background facts, side projects, and specialties that apply across all your resume versions.
What is Account-Level Career Context?
If you have certifications, publications, volunteer leadership, or side projects that do not fit onto a 1-page base resume, you can save them once under 'LinkedIn profile context' on the Account tab. It applies across every base resume, not just one.
This context acts as supplementary memory for the AI. When a job posting requires a specific niche skill that appears in your extra context, ResumeSkip weaves it into your tailored resume or cover letter.
How to Update Your Context
- Open your dashboard and click the 'Account' tab.
- In the 'LinkedIn profile context' section, click 'Add LinkedIn context' (or 'View or edit' if you already saved some).
- Paste your LinkedIn About section, plus lists of technologies, patents, or awards. Use the 'Clean noise' button to strip LinkedIn's UI text.
- Click 'Save context'. All future tailoring runs and cover letters will reference this information.
