Our Core Privacy Commitments
Your resume contains sensitive personal information including your home address, phone number, work history, and compensation details. We treat your data with the highest security standards:
- Zero Model Training: We never use your resume, cover letters, or job descriptions to train AI models.
- Device-Side Text Extraction: When you upload a PDF or DOCX, the text is extracted locally on your device in your browser.
- Private by Default: Your generated resumes and applications remain strictly private unless you explicitly choose to create a public share link.
- Data Sharing Opt-Out: In Account Settings, you can opt out of aggregate, anonymized benchmark research with a single switch.
- Complete Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated resume versions at any time.
Opting Out of Aggregate Research
ResumeSkip computes aggregate, anonymized benchmark statistics (such as average match score improvements) to publish our public industry reports.
To exclude your data from all aggregate statistics, go to Dashboard > Account, toggle 'Data Sharing Opt-Out' to on, and save.
