Tailor Your Resume Without Leaving the Job Posting

The ResumeSkip browser extension is now on the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons. Tailor your resume and check your ATS match score directly on LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Indeed, and Ashby.

The ResumeSkip browser extension is now available on both the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons, free. It puts the same tailoring engine you use on the dashboard directly on the job posting, so you can go from finding a role to downloading a matched, ATS-ready resume without opening a single new tab.

It works the same in both browsers: install it, pin it to your toolbar, and sign in once with your email. From then on, any job posting is one click away from a tailored resume.

Why on-page beats copy and paste

The usual tailoring loop means juggling five tabs: the job board, a document, a word processor, an AI chat window, and your file manager. Every job posting you copy by hand arrives with broken line breaks and stray button labels that you then clean up before anything can read it.

The extension reads the posting straight from the page you are already looking at. It pulls the job title, company, and full description, runs the match, and hands you a clean Word file. The job description never touches your clipboard.

What it does

  • Detects the job title and requirements automatically on LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, ZipRecruiter, SmartRecruiters, and most company career pages.
  • Shows your ATS match score for the posting, with matched and missing keywords, before you apply.
  • Downloads a single-column, ATS-compliant Word (.docx) file tailored to that specific posting.
  • Imports your LinkedIn profile or career background in one click to use as a resume base or extra context.
  • Runs the exact same honest tailoring engine as the web app. It rephrases and reorders your real experience and never invents jobs, skills, or dates.

Same account, same limits

The extension signs in to the same ResumeSkip account you use on the website and shares the same run pool: 10 free tailored resumes every 30 days on the free plan, unlimited on Pro. Your saved resume bases and career context show up in the extension's dropdown the moment you sign in.

It only reads a page when you act on it. It does not run in the background or track the sites you visit.

Get it

Install it from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons, or from the ResumeSkip extension page. Chrome, Brave, Edge, Opera, and other Chromium browsers use the Chrome Web Store listing; Firefox 115 and later uses the Firefox Add-ons listing.
